<p><strong>GPX Tracker</strong> is a versatile tool that allows you to easily track your routes. Whether you're driving, biking, or enjoying the great outdoors on a walking or hiking tour, GPX Tracker will effortlessly trace your geographic data.</p>

<p>Originally developed as a creator for XCode-compatible GPX formatted files, GPX Tracker has expanded its feature list while maintaining its user-friendly interface.</p>

<h2>Configuration</h2>

<p>The GPX Tracker offers a straightforward configuration interface with the following options:</p>

<ul>
  <li><em>Distance Filter</em> - Specifies the minimum distance, in meters, between two waypoints.</li>
  <li><em>Auto Stop</em> - Don't worry if you forget to turn off the recorder. GPX Tracker automatically detects when you've stopped traveling and stops tracing your trip to save energy.</li>
  <li><em>Reminder</em> - When enabled, you will receive a message whenever you pause for a few minutes, reminding you to stop tracking your route.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Trip Tracking</h2>

<p>The main screen features a start/stop button. Simply press it once to begin tracing a new trip and press it again when you want to stop recording data.</p>

<p>At the top of the screen, you'll find the distance traveled displayed in either miles or kilometers, depending on your locale system configuration.</p>

<p>On the right side of the menu bar item, you can choose different user tracking modes for the maps.</p>

<h2>Tracks</h2>

<p>The Tracks screen displays a list of recorded tracks, showing the date and time of each recording, along with the duration and distance traveled.</p>

<p>Tapping on a track will display it on a map. From there, you can use the menu bar item on the right side to choose an export format and send the generated file via email.</p>

<p>Back in the Tracks screen, you can easily delete a recorded track by swiping the desired item from right to left.</p>

<h2>Track Export Formats</h2>

<p>There are two available output formats:</p>

<ul>
  <li>XCode compatible "wpt"-tag based GPX files - This format is suitable for iOS Simulator and can be added to an XCode iOS Project.</li>
  <li>Common GPX "trk"-tag based format - The track consists of a collection of "trkpt" tags within a "trk" element. This format should work with any application that processes GPX tracks.</li>
</ul>

<p>GPX Tracker is a free app supported by ads.</p>

<p>Please note: Continuous use of GPS running in the background can significantly decrease battery life. GPS is automatically stopped as soon as you finish recording a track.</p>
